Announcing the 2nd Annual Emerging Fringe Contest
Sunday June 26 and Sunday July 3, 2016
The San Diego International Fringe Festival is thrilled to announce its 2nd Annual regional competition for performing artists – grades 7-12 – to showcase original works created and performed by Emerging Fringe student artists of any performing arts discipline or genre. In addition to cash prizes for the first through third place winners, the 1st Place Winner of Emerging Fringe is entered to win the $1000 Jonathan Dunn-Rankin Scholarship, presented by Actors Alliance of San Diego, to help with costs for producing a full-length show in SDIFF17.
The Emerging Fringe Application deadline is May 1, 2016. The competition dates are Sunday, June 26 and Sunday, July 3, 2016.
