Author-songwriter Byron Ladue has added new songs and updated a couple classics as he traces American Folkprotest music from its roots up to the present crisis. He has written orporate murder mysterys, singing telegrams, daytime soap operas and many satrical songs for The Piparoos. Piparoos a comedy group specialising in tasteless humour. His motivation for creating, "This Machine Kills Fascists" is the dark political situation facing the people of this great nation. Using folk and protest sosgs from America's past and some original compositions reflecint current events, Byron iresponding to his internal call to action.
