Levani is an award winning writer and performer from the Republic of Georgia. Starting with the Brazilian artform of Capoeira from an early age, they’ve branched out into other performance and visual art styles and now create “jack-of-all trades” interactive experiences that blend music, dance, acrobatics, humor, branching choose-your-own-adventure narratives, overly complicated powerpoints, and whatever else they can cram into an hour long script. While the plays they’ve written so far have been drastically different in genre or style, they each use humor and an exploration of deeply personal (sometimes traumatic) subjects to educate and inspire some sort of change in their audiences. Their plays have enjoyed multiple sold out performances, several awards, and critical acclaim while touring around the US and hope to continue to do so internationally. When offstage, Levani practices, procrastinates, or more often perseverates about socially awkward interactions from a decade ago.
