Once aboard, she meets Marlene, a Berlin woman.
They begin to bond; as they debate 1930’s Germany and 2026 America.
When Marlene shares that she's transgender...Barbera’s beliefs are challenged..
The train races on; they struggle to agree.
Marlene fears the State's control; Barbera fears abandonment of tradition.
Anger softens into awareness but they still argue over who should leave the train.
As Marlene reveals another secret, Barbera's forced to confront her own beliefs.
Ultimately...by coming together; they are able to save each other.

ABOUT THE ARTIST/COMPANY:Theatre of Divine Disruption formed in February 2025 as a response to growing political concerns.
We created and performed a 35min version of Ghost Train for Hollywood Fringe 2025.
The world has turned and tightened even further; so we have created a 60min 2026 version of Ghost Train.
